Joe Golc is a short-story writer and screenwriter who likes to say divulging anymore of his background would ruin the first four chapters of his novel. But what the cliff notes do disclose is Joe is a natural-born storyteller whose writing, grounded by a strong sense of place, explores the depths of the human condition and the affect the universe’s indifference has on it.
Joe counts Hunter S. Thompson, Cormac McCarthy, William Goldman, the Coen Brothers, John Milius, David Milch, Taylor Sheridan, and Nic Pizzolatto among his greatest influences.
Currently, Joe is at work on his first pilot, a cult-inspired thriller set in Lake Cumberland, KY.
